OUR BOOK CLUB NAME: St. Joan/St. Catherine Reads

PURPOSE: The folks attending determine which books we will read. At our meeting we discuss the book we have selected. Everyone is welcome.

MEETINGS: Every other month on the third Tuesday at 10 am.  We meet at the Waukesha State Bank (downstairs) 1227 Corporate Center Dr, Oconomowoc, WI 53066 (across Hwy 67 from the Pabst Farm Pick and Save.)

If you purchase either book at Books & Company. tell them it is for our book club and receive a 15% discount on the book(s).

UPCOMING:

Flight Behavior by Barbara Kingsolver will be our book to discuss for November 16, 2021. This novel is about a wife and mother in Tennessee, who has an unexplainable experience, which leads to competing factions, including religious leaders, climate scientists, and politicians. It leads to her world opening up.

For January 18, 2022, we will talk about The Stolen Letter by Clara Benson. A young English woman goes to Italy as the beginnings of WW11 are happening. She is caught up in the art scene and the war, along with family difficulties.
