PASTORAL ASSOCIATE (SJ)
RCIA/ADULT EDUCATION (CLUSTER)
In my role as the pastoral associate at St. Joan of Arc, I work closely with Fr. Mike in a variety of ways meeting the needs of this vibrant parish. These areas include the registration of all new parishioners, liturgy preparation, bereavement; funeral planning, sacramental needs and on occasion teaching the middle school students from our school. Mixed in with all these pastoral needs are the day to day operations of the parish. For the cluster arrangement with St. Catherine of Alexandria, I serve as the Director of Adult Education, RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults, which includes an adapted process for children) and baptismal preparation with parents presenting their children for the sacrament of baptism. In addition, I am a member of the Liturgy, Christian Formation and Human Concerns Commissions and serve as a resource person on the Joint Pastoral Council.
In my personal life, I am the mother of four young adults, one daughter and three sons. I am also blessed with two grandsons, Graeme and Dane. My academic credentials include a BA in Theology from Mount Mary University and a MA in Theology from Sacred Heart School of Theology.
It is an honor and a privilege for me to serve the people of God as together we build the kingdom in the sharing and living out of the Good News of Jesus.
