Join the St Joan of Arc Parish Community!

Membership is best expressed by participation in Sunday Eucharist. We invite you to become actively involved in our worshiping community. All Catholic adults living within the parish and regularly participating in Liturgy are asked to register in the parish. Formal membership is required for celebration of Baptism, First Eucharist, First Reconciliation, Confirmation and Marriage. Registration is also a prerequisite for attendance in our School and Religious Education programs.  Each parishioner is asked to support the work of the church through their active participation: the sharing of their time, talent and treasure. Each parishioner is asked to give in a manner that reflects the blessings they have received from God.

Join the St Catherine of Alexandria Parish Community!

We are the oldest Catholic parish in Waukesha County, established in June of 1847.  Our parish was founded by Irish Immigrants thirteen years before Wisconsin was even named a state, and before the Archdiocese of Milwaukee was established. This land was called a “territory” that was part of the Archdiocese of Detroit, Michigan. Our parish is a beautiful piece of history, steeped in the many stories of the struggles, joys, sorrows and love of God’s holy people.  We are a large parish community that still has a small town, friendly, caring community feeling.  Our love and concern radiates from each member to anyone who walks through our doors. We are a Roman Catholic Community that strives to live in the light and example of Pope Francis I, committed to showing unconditional love to all who are seeking a place to belong.  The doors of St. Catherine of Alexandria in Mapleton, Wisconsin are open to all.
