COMMUNION MINISTRY:  to the area Nursing Homes, and assisted Living for St. Catherine of Alexandria and St. Joan of Arc Parishes.

A graced opportunity for members of our two parish communities to share the Bread of Life and  the Good News of the Gospel with our brothers and sisters who are unable to be present for Daily or Sunday Eucharist. It is also a chance for us to reach out and let them know that Father Mike, and our communities love and care for them. We want to meet their spiritual needs and offer assistance in any way that we can.

  • We are always seeking members from our two parishes to share in this beautiful ministry.
  • We also make Hospital visits when asked, and bring Communion, and have an opportunity to pray with them, in the event that Father Mike is unable to see them. Char Stroik, our Parish Nurse, Bill Frederick and Ellen Heitman, Pastoral Associates will go when requested.

HOLIDAY DELIVERY: This is a long-standing tradition at St Catherine of delivering Poinsettias and Easter Lilies to those who are unable to come to Church, and those who are just having a difficult time during the holidays. Contact us if you would like to receive one or know of someone who would benefit!

Those willing to serve in this ministry are trained to distribute Communion to anyone at home, in hospital nursing homes, assisted living centers, and to AngelsGrace Hospice.  Visits are made to Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital every Friday morning around 10:00 AM.  Visits to AngelsGrace are made on various days in the afternoon.
