A CALL TO EVENING PRAYER

A Call to Evening Prayer

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Let me begin by extending my gratitude to all of you for your participation in Evening Prayer.  The cards, messages, emails, texts and phone calls expressing your appreciation for sharing in the prayer experience left me humbled.  What an honor it was for me to lead our parishes in prayer.

This weekend as you know is our first Sunday of in person Masses at our cluster.  I am looking forward to seeing those of you who are able to attend. However, that has led me to make a very difficult decision

After consultation with Fr. Mike and my own prayerful reflection, I have decided to suspend Evening Prayer until further notice. This will allow me to shift my time and energy to working with Fr. Mike and the cluster staffs as we move forward in the Catholic Comeback plan provided by the Archdiocese of Milwaukee.

All the Evening Prayers will remain available on the website so you can have access to them.  They will be available by date and focus of the prayer.

Once again my profound gratitude for allowing me to prayerfully walk with you during this pandemic. Be assured of my continued prayer for our communities of faith as we enter into the good night given to us by our God.

God Bless,     Ellen Heitman          Pastoral Associate SJOA
