Hi! My name is Mary Gross, I currently teach 4th – 8th math. This includes pre-algebra for 7th grade and algebra for 8th grade. I also teach 5th and 6th grade multi-age social studies. I am starting my seventeenth year at St. Joan of Arc Parish School. I've been blessed to be a teacher at a school that is in the same community in which I live...and in which I myself grew up.
I was born and raised in Oconomowoc and am grateful to have raised my children in this area. Both my husband, Russ, and I attended Oconomowoc High school. We married after I finished college and have been blessed with three wonderful boys. Kyle, our oldest son, is attending UW-Milwaukee seeking a degree in mechanical engineering after completing six years of service in the Navy. Our son Adam graduated from UW-Eau Claire and is working in his field of chemistry for a pharmaceutical company. Matt, our youngest, is currently continuing his study of nursing at UW-Milwaukee. Russ and I have family living in Oconomowoc, Watertown, Hartland, Brookfield, Hartford, Crandon, and Arizona. We enjoy boating, fishing, biking, traveling, and gardening during the summer months; Russ is an avid hunter during the fall months and ice fisherman during the winter months. During the school year the activities of St. Joan of Arc, my family, and my fitness instruction keep me busy, but I value and enjoy them and feel blessed because of them.
