Youth Program - YES! (Youth Exploring Scripture)
Grades 7 through 11
This year our programs are focused on both the gift of smaller groups and meeting with individuals. Through this process we hope to strengthen our faith community one family at a time.
With both our Family and Youth programs, you may choose to meet in person or remotely:
- Face to Face (F2F) - meetings take place at St. Catherine of Alexandria or St. Joan of Arc in groups of 10 or less with masks expected.
- Eye to Eye (E2E) - meetings take place via Zoom. (Please note we encourage a parent be present in the room while a child or youth are online with a Catechist.)
Please note that if our area is required to quarantine due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all classes will continue to run in our E2E format.
Your youth will be invited to explore the Sunday Gospels and make connections to their lives and the world in which they live:
Your Unique Family
Individually we will welcome your family to the faith journey ahead. Youth Minister Janis Parker or Program Director Mary Sue Reutebuch look forward to remotely connecting with parents and youth to reflect on the questionnaire that will tell us about your family.
1 session a month November– June
Youth will meet with their grade level to explore how Scripture takes hold in each of their lives and calls them to serve.
*Eleventh grade Confirmation Candidates will receive their sacramental preparation in this time as well.
Monthly Retreats - Scripture and Chill (SAC)
Whether at home, in the woods, with a friend, or alone, taking a break (retreating) nourishes our faith life. Each month your youth will receive a SAC(k) with a unique retreat experience designed for them. Take a break!
