MEETINGS: Meetings are held in the Community Room at St Joan. E-mailed notification of projects for work days is used for communication.

OBJECTIVES: Maintain the buildings and grounds of the Parish in a condition enabling it to meet our worship, education and fellowship needs.  Work performed includes the coordination of sub contracts of major project improvements, repairs and maintenance including, but not limited to: Landscaping, weeding, plantings, snow removal, general repairs, addressing storage needs, painting, floor care, fire protection, plumbing, HVAC and electrical, Assistance to the cemetery  and special projects.

EXAMPLES OF PAST PROJECTS: Relocation of pews and coordination of new flooring in the Sanctuary and offices, Creation of Storage closets in the Church and Education Center, Completion of Classrooms in the Education Center, Assisted with coordination of locker installation and bleachers in the Education Center, Coordination of repair and maintenance of the parking lot.

OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE: Members with basic homeowner skills to perform weeding, planting, mulching, painting (interior and exterior) floor maintenance (stripping, waxing and carpet cleaning) plumbing and carpentry.  In addition we appreciate input or services from trained professionals from within the parish.  We review all service agreements and acquire bids for special projects.  We work with all ministries, committees and youth working towards acquiring service hours for various organizations.If only wishing to be notified of “work day” opportunities we maintain a worker listing used for notification.
